scene but not nearly in the gas motor scene. Even the people I know with diesels say they notice an improvement, but the ones with gas motors say it is not worth it. Nixit, is this for your joop with the v8? If so some long-tube headers and an x-pipe would quiet it down much. The headers do not quiet it down as much as the crossover though. Of course this is also only if you are running dual exhaust. If you are not running cats you may want to check into something like the Dynomax bullet as a resonator before the actual muffler. Also, from reading various truck forums (performancetrucks, fullsizechevy, and few others) I noticed that the bigger cased Magnaflow seems to be a very popular choice as the bigger case will deaden the sound somewhat more, however it is still a straight through muffler. A few even complain how quiet it becomes, but of course you will see opposite sides saying it is causing too much drone. I am just throwing out the idea of reading up on this muffler a little.
